With the recent developments concerning COVID-19, we want to reassure our patients and give some helpful guidelines during this confusing time. Bettendorf Pediatric and Family Practice Associates will remain open to serve our community unless instructed otherwise by public health officials.
Please follow these guidelines for any upcoming appointments:
If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, (fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, shortness of breath), please inform the front desk staff upon scheduling your appointment - it may be advised that you visit the emergency department.
If you are an immuno-compromised patient, we recommend you reschedule any elective appointments and limit your social exposure.
Practice increased personal hygiene, including regularly washing your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds and/or use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer (containing at least 60% alcohol). Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Practice social distancing, and we will too. Try to stay at least six-feet away from most people. Avoid crowds, restaurants, etc.
To help protect our staff and our patients, in addition to routine disinfecting practices, we have enforced the following interventions:
If necessary, staff members and physicians will be wearing masks and gloves on a more frequent basis.
We will be asking about ANY recent travel.
If a patient's temperature in the office is >100.4F, they must wear a mask.
All patients with cough must wear a mask - NO exceptions.
As events progress, we will keep our patients posted. Our main concern is your overall health and well being. If you have any questions or concerns about an upcoming appointment, please contact our office at (563) 332-3400.
